Galway Golf Club

Located in the famous seaside resort of Salthill Galway Golf Club offers the discerning visitor a Championship Standard 18 hole Parkland Course with spectacular views over Galway Bay, the Burren and Aran Islands. This fine of test of golf is 5,974 metres long and plays to a par of 70 with a standard scratch of 72 off the back tees. Access to the first four holes which run alongside Galway Bay is via an underground pedestrian tunnel. With an abundance of mature trees, elevated and tiered greens and plenty of wild gorse to punish the wayward shot you must be accurate off the tee, have a good short game and your putter to be hot to score well - playing to your handicap here, your game is in good shape!

Bearna Golf Club

Located at the gateway to Connemara in the Gaeltacht, with commanding views of Galway Bay, the Burren and the Aran Islands, this West of Ireland golf course is only five miles from Galway city. Built on Connemara moorland it is a high scenic area with features and colours and plant and animal life that you won't find elsewhere. Wonderful characteristics of gorse bushes, ditches, humps and bumps, twists and turns, all surrounded by authentic Irish peat bog, make for a thrilling round of golf.

Connemara Golf Links

Golf on the edge of Europe…Connemara Championship Golf Links, the only links course in Co. Galway, is nestled between the scenic splendour of the 12 Bens mountain range and the rugged Atlantic Ocean. This beautiful isolated links course, founded in 1973 and designed by Eddie Hackett lies to the West of Clifden along the Wild Atlantic Ways signature discovery point of Derrigimla Bog and Mannin Bay Blueway. From the testing dog leg opening hole through to the breathtaking back 9, the course is a test for all levels. In 2000 an additional 9 holes were unveiled to add a further dimension to the exhilarating Connemara golfing experience.

When playing Connemara you are always mesmerised by the landscape around you, whether it’s Slyne Head Lighthouse, the 12 Bens Mountains, the Atlantic Ocean or Grainne O’Malleys Castle, there is something special on every hole. The club offers fantastic facilities with a modern clubhouse bar, coffee shop and restaurant, a proshop, practise range and putting green. The proshop has everything you need from golf carts, rental clubs, tuition and all top clothing brands. With many wonderful beaches, pony trekking, walking, hiking and biking available nearby Connemara Golf Links has a lot to offer not only the experienced golfer but any visitor looking for unique adventures.

Oughterard Golf Club

Oughterard Golf Club is an 18 Hole parkland course, which is lined with mature native Irish trees, including Oak, Hazel and Birch. It is an excellent test of golf, with numerous water features, sand bunkers etc. that are strategically placed to protect the par of the course.
