Camilaun Restaurant

Why not take a break from the kitchen and have Sunday Lunch out for Mothers Day in the award winning Camilaun Restaurant. Camilaun Restaurant

The candlelit restaurant overlooking gardens, will host a romantically themed evening on Thursday 14th , Friday 15th & Saturday 16th February where guests will be treated to a five course table d’hote gourmet meal for two with special touches and a bottle of house wine, all for just €75 per couple. Valentines Ball

The Ardilaun Hotel Galway plays host once again to the National Breast Cancer Research Institute (NBCRI) annual Valentine’s Ball this year. The gala evening, which always marks the start of Galway’s social calendar, is one of the charity’s major fundraising events and monies raised go to support breast cancer research carried out by Prof. Michael Kerin and his research team based at NUI Galway. It’s a testament to the directors of NBCRI and the great support of the public and local businesses that despite very difficult economic times they have managed to maintain the event over the years. One of the highlights of the night will be ‘Dial-A-Diamond’ where guests have a chance to win a stunning pair of 18k white gold diamond earrings, round brilliant cut pave setting with a total of 2.50 carats worth €3,000, donated by Cara Diamonds.

The Ball takes place on Saturday 16th February with a champagne reception at 7.30pm followed by gala dinner. MC this year is singer/songwriter, radio and TV personality Marc Roberts, with music by ‘Oddity’ and dancing till late with DJ Kevin Belton. Blazers Bar & Bistro

This Valentines if you are looking for the more casual setting, look no further than Blazers Bar & Bistro, with comfortable surroundings where you can enjoy cosy atmosphere and avail of the Valentines Special running each evening, which includes a romantically themed two course meal with a glass of prosecco for just €21 per person or a three course meal with a glass of prosecco with a glass of prosecco for €24. Live Music in Blazers Bar will be on Thursday 14th & Saturday 16th February.

With this in mind, we are now offering 3 barbeque packages to suit any occasion.

For private parties of 30 guests or more, whether it is a social group or corporate work colleagues, family group etc you can enjoy a succulent BBQ for as little as €15 per guest at this superb Galway Hotel venue.

David O’ Donnell, Executive Head Chef and the kitchen team at the Ardilaun Hotel have compiled a variety of mouth watering succulent BBQ menu options to choose from, for example the “Hot Grill” option offers Grilled Beef Burger with Lemongrass and Coriander Glaze, Lime and Lemongrass Marinated Chicken Drumstick, and Pork and Apple Jumbo Sausage, all served with Floury Bap or Seeded Roll, Summer Leaves, Tomato Slices and Gherkins, Choice of Tarragon Mayonnaise, Tomato Relish and Barbeque Dip. Included in this price will also be a pint of beer, glass of wine or soft drink all for just €15 per guest. A more elaborate menu with drink is available in the “Summer Garden” option for €20 per guest. One can enjoy a nice summer dessert afterwards such as Caramelised Summer Fruit Kebab, and a cocktail on the Terrace to compliment the barbeque options at minimal extra cost.
