ATLANTAQUARIUM

Atlantaquarium is Ireland’s National Aquarium and home to the country’s largest display of marine and fresh water life. The aquarium is located on the Seafront Promenade of Salthill, overlooking Galway Bay. Talks are held throughout the day during summer on a variety of topics including Fin Whale, Touch Pool, Fresh water Fish Feeding etc. Staff are on hand at all times to answer questions and show you around if you wish- free of charge!!!

 Atlantaquarium is open 7 days a week for the Spring and Summer. It closes on some Mondays and Tuesdays from October to February for essential tank maintenance. Opening hours are Monday To Friday from 9AM to 5PM and Saturday and Sunday from 9AM to 6PM
