Kirwan’s Lane is located off Cross Street and is one of Galway’s finest examples of its medieval heritage. In the past there was a 100 seat theatre and two nunneries located here. Kirwan’s Lane has since been restored and now houses several craft shops including the Design Concourse Ireland.

Kirwan’s Lane is named after one of the Galway tribes and it is a popular attraction as it contains many shops and restaurants. It is where you can experience some of the character of Galway City. Kirwan’s Lane is located in the heart of Galway city centre.

Quay Street is located off High Street, intersected by Cross Street and is one of the liveliest streets in Galway. Lined on either side by quaint restaurants and traditional Irish bars, this is definitely one of the more trendy areas of the city. Here you will find Tigh Neachtain and The Quay’s Bar and the odd pint of Guinness.

Enjoy your stay in Galway City!
